After the constraints of lockdown we are again doing country walks at least once a month, usually in the Surrey Hills, Hampshire Downs and Sussex and South Downs. They range between about four and seven miles. Our walks organiser does a recce of each walk and informs us of distance and features including hills, stiles and ground conditions. Walks are designed to be pleasant exercise in good, welcoming company not strenuous marches. We walk in the morning and end for lunch in a pleasant pub with good food. Come and join us.

We are highly fortunate in that we are able to access some of the most delightful and picturesque areas in the South-East, with charming villages, historical sites, far-reaching views and plenty to enjoy. With well-marked paths and bridle ways, river and canal walks, there is something for everyone.

Favourite walks have included Harting Down and Beacon Hill, the Sussex Border Path, the Lickfold Way, around Buriton and Charlton, Cowdray Park.

All you need is a pair of walking boots…….
